These are also so versatile that you can make strips or knots , or twists , of course you catch the drift . I will tell you though – that the knots are pretty fluffy and just how you would find them at your favorite restaurant or take out joint .

So – Now that you have your ingredients all set – Here is what is next —

  • You are going to Cut one pound of the pizza dough into 4 pieces & flatten each into a 4 inch square
  • Cut each Square into 4 strips, tie each strip into a knot
  • Set each knot onto a parchment lined baking sheet
  • Brush them all with olive oil ( or melted butter ) and loosely cover with plastic wrap ( not individually)
  • Then you will let rise for about an hour or so .
  • Then- Uncover and bake at 400 degrees until golden – 12-15 min or so . ( watch them )
  • Combine 3 Tablespoons butter, 2 Tablespoons olive oil, 3 minced garlic cloves , tsp salt and red pepper flakes – ( and or anything else you are adding ) in a saucepan over Medium heat and cook for 1-2 minutes Toss or brush the knots in the mixture ( dont drowned them! ) and then sprinkle on the Parsley and grated cheese .
